The Call for Expressions of Interest for Cities to join the DivAirCity Twin Programme was published to invite cities to join DivAirCity’s global network as Twin Partners.
The call was widely circulated through DivAirCity’s official channels, including the website, newsletters, and social media. Additionally, partner organizations and city networks helped spread the word.
Cities were required to fill out an interest form by March 10, 2024, describing their interest in the project, their experience, and their preferences in terms of matches with the 5 DivAirCity pilot cities.
The selection criteria focused on ensuring diversity in geographical location and city size, and alignment of interests with the project. The Call and the Expression of Interest were kept short, concise and easy-to-read, to enable wider participation.
