DivAirCity is inviting research and innovation (R&I) projects to participate in our global network by becoming Twin Projects. The Project-to-Project Twinning Programme is designed to foster cooperation among R&I projects working in fields closely aligned with DivAirCity’s focus, such as NBS, social inclusion, and co-creation. Through this programme, the aim is to facilitate scientific exchanges, enhance collaboration, and support the sustainability and dissemination of DivAirCity and the Twin Projects findings across the research community.
Programme Activities
Twin Projects will engage in a series of activities from December 2024 to May 2025. Based on their research focus, Twin Projects will be divided into three Working Groups (WGs), focused on:
- Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and climate-neutral cities
- Inclusive co-creation and citizens’ engagement
- Innovative business models and data gaps and biases
- Each WG will conduct two online events per topic:
- Open House Meeting (Dec 2024 – Feb 2025): A session dedicated to discussing common challenges and sharing innovative solutions.
- Show-and-Tell Event (Mar 2025 – May 2025): An opportunity for each project to present their innovations and research findings.
Selected projects will be invited to join (online or in person) the DivAirCity final event planned in Valencia, Spain for May 2025 (dates tbc).
* Note that any costs incurred for the physical participation to the event or for any other activity of the Project-to-Project Twinning Programme will not be covered by DivAirCity.
